The Warragul Linen Service was established by the then Victorian Health Commission in 1962. Originally the service was supplying linen requirements to the West and South Gippsland region, In 1986 the service was expanded to a new facility which included state of the art technology designed to enhance the services ability to meet the increasing demands of a customer base which includes some of Melbourne's major public hospitals. There are currently 190 staff employed who produce approximately 135 tonnes of linen per week.

The Warragul Linen Service is one of the largest suppliers of linen to the Victorian health care market and our extensive customer base includes five star hotels as well as major hospital facilities:

• Dandenong Hospital
• Holiday Inn Melbourne
• Crowne Plaza Hotel

The Warragul Linen Service is a State Government Commercialised Organisation operated by a community based board.
