PATIENT SLING MANAGEMENT TOOL

Warragul Linen Service provides an online tool for customers who use patient slings - the Equipment Safety Audit and Management Portal or eSAAMP.

To ensure slings satisfy core health and safety requirements for patient use, the eSAAMP provides:

• A secure online mechanism to organise key details of slings belonging to an organisation;

• Ability to record key audit details - when a sling safety audit is due, who conducts each audit; each audit result and any required follow-up actions;

• Sling wash records – lists when a sling was last laundered and its total wash count;

• Sling budgeting data– enabling the user to predict when a sling requires retirement and when replacements need to be purchased.
